The Manufacturing Inspector, located in a climate-controlled facility in Orange, TX, is committed to supporting Cloeren Incorporated continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by using various gauges and other tolerance equipment to make sure machined parts are to specifications.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings/prints in order to be able to inspect manufactured parts.
  • Inspect manufactured parts for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards while ensuring print tolerances are as expected.
  • Record inspection data as needed in a legible format.
  • Use required tolerance equipment and tools as necessary.
  • Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

At a minimum, the Manufacturing Inspector must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 1-3 years of experience as a Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector and proven ability to read prints. Associates degree in machining or related field of study, or trade school graduate along with prior Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector experience is highly preferred.

  • Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.

  • Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches.
  • Ability to function effectively as a team player.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, as needed, to best serve our business operations.
