The Drafter is committed in supporting Cloeren Incorporated to continually be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by setting up and producing workable 2D and/or 3D files for use in CNC routing, milling, and 3D printing.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a team of technical professionals in supporting day-to-day operations and forward-thinking goals by applying CAD-based design knowledge and skills to supports project completion.
  • Read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Produce CAD drawings for new and improved products.
  • Design or redesign complex layouts and drawings using SolidWorks software.
  • Analyze and resolve design issues.
  • Work with engineers on model accuracy, designs, drafting standards and project documentation.
  • Work within a project lifecycle to release new, and revise, product designs and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

At a minimum, the Drafter must have an associate degree in mechanical drafting, or equivalent field of study, along with 2+ years of mechanical drafting experience and demonstrated AutoCAD experience. Experience using Solidworks is preferred.
